S & K News !NEW! 1/16/08 - The new year is off to a good start. All the kids are back in school and doing well. Kylie has started her second semester of college and is taking such classes as Sociology, Anatomy, English, and Speech. Stacey also has started her next semester of college toward Nursing. She is taking a bunch of Community Health classes, (big, long named classes that I can't remember). As for me, I hope to be auditioning for another play on January 27. Stay tuned and I will let you know how it goes. 12/28/07 - ...and Christmas is over, whew! A very good Christmas actually, all went well at the Slatten/Kahl domicile. I believe that everyone got what they wanted and we had a very peaceful, fun holiday. There was a lot of spirituality floating through the air as we thought about family members that we couldn't see, but overall it was a very happy time. Thanks to everyone who made it what it was. |

Yes, yes it does indeed sound pitiful to have a donation button on a family website. However we are definitely not too proud to accept help from those that care. Raising 5 kids and 2 dogs is difficult. At this time we have 1 child and 1 wife in college as well which makes it that much harder. So if you can help in any way we would greatly appreciate it. (As of now we are saving up for a new stove as ours is shot.) |
